Anybody know if you can drink alcohol while undergoing chemo. I don't mean everyday, just one or two days on the weekend while out having dinner, etc.

My Dr didn't have a problem with me having an occassional drink, though except for a rare occassion did I really feel like it.

You should ask your dr, some chemo can be affected by alcohol. Its better to ask him or her to be sure.

Probably not a good idea. I am not a medical doctor, so I cannot prescribe medical advice, but if I were you I would skip the chemotherapy. Chemotherapy destroys the immune system and your immune system is already destroyed if you have cancer (in fact, that's what cancer is: an extremely weakened immune system).

If you want to cure cancer, you gotta stop doing the things that cause cancer and start doing things that boost your immune system.

Here are some things you can do (keeping in mind that I legally cannot prescribe medical advice, but it is my firm belief that these methods will mostly likely work):

Avoid all processed foods (especially refined sugars, refined flours)

Avoid all preservatives, additives, artificial sweeteners (they cause cancer), etc.

Avoid sodium nitrate and sodium nitrite, because they cause cancer.

Get organic produce. If there's anything on the label that is not 100% natural and organic, simply don't buy it.

Start taking chlorella. Ten grams a day at least. You can get it very cheaply from www.swansonvtiamins.com, or if you have a lot of dough, the best chlorella is www.sunchlorella.com

Start taking Amazon Herbs. These can help cure cancer. Order from the Amazon Herb Company. Just do an MSN search. Search for "Amazon Herb Company."

Start taking astaxanthin, a very powerful antioxidant, which you can get fairly cheaply from www.nutrex-hawaii.com

Take Vitamin C to bowel tolerance.

Exercise! Do as much as you can do. Sleep at least 8 hours a day. Pay very close attention to these 2 things.

Reduce, actually eliminate, stress. This is VERY important.

Those are some of things you can do. Believe me- chemotherapy doesn't work! Seek nature for your own cure and she will heal you. People all around the world are curing their cancer by following nature, not chemotherapy. The only reason why North America is so sick is because we destroy nature and try to improve upon it. Synethic drugs are not better than nature's herbs!

I wish you all the best in seeking your cancer cure.

Educate yourself about health and you'll be just fine.

I am not sure about this, but I would think that it would not be a problem as long as it is not in excess or right before a treatment. However, you should check with your physicians before you do this. And you want to keep you as healthy as possible because you have enough going on as it is. I wish you the best of luck and good wishes and pray that your health will improve each day. May God bless and keep you!!

I guess it depends on the type of chemo. Pills or IV?

I was told not to drink alcohol when I was on IV chemo for breast cancer.

You should ask your oncologist.
