It's hardly worth the trouble when you can buy Berkley Gulp! products. They definetly have an advantage over homemade recipes.

If you mean fish food like you feed to goldfish, I would guess that doughballs would be close to that. But most fish eat smaller critters, so taking a small fish (or worm or whatever), grinding it up, then taking the effort to reconstitute into something that will stick to a hook sounds like more trouble than it's worth.

I make dough balls when it comes to Steelhead, but as far as makin' some you can get many different recipes by usin' your search bar on the computer (dough balls/fishing). I must agree with exert-7, Berkley has some butt kickin' attractents on the market and their categorized for specific species of fish. Hey, they all SMELL and that is one big key for nailin' them...

Use what you would usually use for bait and roll it in fish food.
