Army combative school is an excellent school to learn how to protect and kill people at the same time.

Army combatives school is an excellent school to attend. Open to all soldiers not just 11b's. You'll learn basic hand to hand, knife, and improvised weapon use. Excellent for beginning to develop the warrior mindset. After completing all the phases you can go on to being an instructor. Plus its worth promotion points.

Combatives is fun to do, its broken into levels, you can do level 1 and 2 at unit level but level 3 is at Ft. Benning and I am not sure about level 4, I know it exists because I a platoon sergeant in my company is level 3 and knows all about the stuff. I am level 2, and personally, I dont find combatives really effective, how many people are you going to fight rolling around on the ground, you want to go into LINES thats tough killer stuff. But yeah its open to all MOS's.

Chose combat arms and you will get all the combat training you can handle. A professional soldier learns how to move, shoot and communicate with other professionals and also how to survive on the modern battlefield. This is done at various levels from basic to advanced with the opportunity to do it for real in an actual combat environment. You must have training and experience to be a professional soldier.
