I've noticed in reply to some questions I've asked, the replies received show the respondents haven't got a clue what the question was. Are they just thick as a brick or merely jumped to the wrong conclusion? For those who answered a military question I posed, my address was, 364. 2nd Batt, SLI. OAS. BTA. I suspect the respondents weren't even born then, so in good army tradition; "Do me a favour and get some In."

I believe you are strategically placed to know the answer to your own question, perhaps if you looked at yahoo in general one, would see that the majority of answerer's take the questions posed with a pinch of salt except, the serious ones which do need a specific answer when we can help.

Sometimes they just answer the main question before looking at the extended notes, other times the are too enthusiastic to read the whole lot and sometimes you get a real numpty. That can't be helped.

Well, since you put this question into the military section, i assume that you are referring to those YA answers in this group, simple answer, the military only know how to destroy things, and are useless for any other purpose.

most people read the headline and respond to it as oppose to being drawn to the headline and read the question in the small print.
I think this overlooking the small print thing is how credit card companies work to.

Maybe try and simplify the question... Use lots of little words.
You might get more/better answers that way.

Why do you place blame on the person answering? Maybe it is the way you ask the question.
