It sure is. Are you recycling? Consider the stuff you buy and the
packaging it comes and you just might be throwing away stuff you
could give to charity. We are running out of landfill space on this
earth so please consider that.

I think so. If you recycle your plastics, glass, cans, and papers, this should reduce the amount of trash greatly. Using a garbage disposal or utilizing food waste in a decomposition pile for fertilizer would lessen trash amounts as well. What would be left is your packaging from food and what not.
But, another sometimes forgotten part of recycling that would impact the amount of trash thrown out per week would be the REDUCTION of what you purchase and use. Reuse cardboard and paper, don't use paper products for eating (or use sparingly), and make meals a resonable size as to reduce unused food.

It depends, are they all 13 gallon or bigger sized? Are you putting smaller bags inside bigger bags? Are you recycling at all?
Please, if you have a bin for recycling, use it. For newspaper, cardboard (flattened is best), glass, and depending on your area, pop and water bottles, milk jugs, and cartons, aluminum cans.
That will help cut down on the amount of garbage that goes in the actual trash bin. Or if you already recycle, etc., and you have a large family, five bags a week is good. Hope this helps answer your question. Take care.
