okay i've had this for about a year now and its really ticking me off. i've had this dry skin on my leg in almost patches. it might be eczema. i put petrolium jelly on it every day to lock the mositure in but i just don't know what to do!! sometimes it'll like go away but it'll come back later! help. i have a doctors app. for this week but i was just wondering what ya'all might say about this.

i've looked at pictures of eczema online and it looks nothing like it. it does itch tho and its lightish pink, and dry. it spread since last year and not i have a patch on my arm =(

If it's a fungal infection, the best thing to do would be to keep it dry by using baby powder or Gold Bond medicated powder on it.
I would not recommend treating it with petroleum jelly for more than a week or so.
You may want to get checked for sexually transmitted diseases.
A rash covering the legs is often an effect of the first stage of syphillis.

It could be a type of fungal infection, dry itchy circular patches of skin and when you are sweating ooowwww. Go the the suermarket and get a tube of nizerol apply it twice a day in the morning and evening, keep area clean. Hope this works, did for me.

Sounds like psoriasis to me. It is red itchy and scaly patches and it does spread.
You are on the right track going to see your doctor to have it checked.

I know it sounds weird but what about going for an allergy test...just a thought!!!!. good luck!!plz cheer up..P.J. is the best thing but, use it sparingly ,my gramps swore by it, and its the main base for heaps of beauty products...
