For the longest time, I had wanted my body donated to science. My kids vetoed that one day. They were really upset about it, although they understood that it would be beneficial, especially since I have RA. They were adamant that I not do this.
I can't stand the thoughts of being buried, so we've agreed on cremation. Now if I can only convince them to toss my remains into an active volcano.

My will stipulates:
1.) I am to be creamated.
2.) A trusted friend is to take the cremains, pick a random latitude and longitude in my home state, and bury the cremains in a paper bag.
3.) The friend who buries my ashes is never to reveal where my ashes are buried.
4.) Family and friends are asked to destroy any legal documentation with my name on it, along with any momentos with my name or likeness (such as photos).

Buried.
When my father died, my mother walked into the house after picking up his ashes from the funeral home. She was carrying the man she had been married to for 60 years in her two hands. I will forever remember the look on her face as she carried the still-warm box in the house. My brother died two months later and again, there was a small little box carried into the house. Six months later, my mother was placed into a small little box. To think of my family members whom I loved very much, being burned so small that they fit into a tiny little box, is too much to bear. I could not do that to someone I love. I want to be buried.

Cremated, but leaving a lot of thought to donation to science. Whatever uses the least resources and does the most good.

I want to have my body donated to science as I have an incurable& very rare disease,Maybe they can learn something from my body, but my son's said no. I will not be in this body anymore Thank God! My family doesn't need to go visit a grave site to visit me. I won't be there!

Take what you can use, then CREMATE me! After a few generations, you're just another body rotting in the ground, taking up space. Nobody cares who is buried there. Nobody visits the grave. So just cremate me. Where my ashes go is irrelevant, because it's where my spirit goes that matters the most. glory!

I just wish I have a tenth of the mourners show up for my funeral as showed up for my uncle's. Oh, and then be buried and if there is anything usable on my body that let them take that first.

I would prefer an old stye funeral pyre, with drinking, laughing, childeren roasting marshmellows. Return my elements to nature without the intervention of overpriced undertakers while providing a party for my freinds.

If I were incredibly beautiful, I'd want to be mummified,
I think all flawlessly beautiful people and children, beautiful babies, they should all be mummified.
I want a viking burial, put me out on a wooden raft on the water with loads of flowers and set me on fire at daybreak.
