I think you've just made everyone's day. On a more serious note however, I have heard some people say that the British are beginning to forget the language and that they may someday have to import teachers from the United States in order to relearn it.

Most people in the US came from England it is a country.
called the UK. People in that place speak a language handed down to them from the Romans. From this country England they went to North America.[US] where there was Indian tribes who spoke many languages Cherokee and Choctaw and many others. when the English people came they took the land from the Indians by force and made them speak English.
That is why English is spoken in the US. It came from Europe or across the ocean. Did you know that some Islands and Australia and other countries also were made to speak English. In fact any immigrant who moved to this country from anywhere else was forced to speak English.
If you go down to New Orleans area some speak French.
some people in Canada speak French.
The Mexican languages is a combination of Indian and Spaniards language. Because many people came to North America from Spain. Bringing their languages with them.
So most people here were forced to speak their languages rather than them speaking ours.
they say now that immigrants need to speak our language but this was not the original languages of the North American Continent. It was and always has been forced upon people in this Continent.

Is this a joke? English originated in Great Britain. America is a former British colony, so we speak English because it was the language that the British who came here spoke.
Languages native to the United States are Cherokee, Navajo, and other languages of the American Indians.

The Brits have their own language and it's called English. We speak English also, just our version of it. The USA was at one time ruled by Britian, which is why we speak English. I think you got the two mixed up, bro.

What??? Do you not realize that the English came over here to declare independence from Britain? That's how America was formed. Land was taken over from the native American Indians. The English language originated in England. What do you mean, why can't they get their own language? It is their language.

It's called English for a reason. It originated from England. America had its origins in England, and it borrowed the language.
Just remember - it's always better to share languages as it makes communication easier.
