i am Mormon and I just found out that my underwear is magic! Please please tell me what it does! I think the only thing it does is ensure I wear modest clothes and people can't look at certain parts of me? But I guess some other people on yahoo answers know about some secret magic they perform....l'm really in a sarcastic mood today (I have a really bad cold) All this is making me laugh, which is the best cure!

Cult=A religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, with its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance of an authoritarian, charismatic leader.
The LDS church is not a cult. How can anyone think that? Every Sunday I walk into my church and greet all my friends and everyone there since I know everyone by name. Everyone there is with their families which is the most important thing in the world! If people think striving to be like Christ and CTR is cult like, fine then I guess you can call the LDs church a cult and I have no problem with it. I guess not drinking, or smoking, is living in an unconventional.

I know they're not Victoria's Secret or anything, but, geez, if they WERE magic, then why can't I just magically get rid of all the crap in my life??

I think that the reason people talk about them being magic is because they're jealous.

It keeps you in la la land and brainwashes you so that you think you have magical powers to be baptized for the dead, that Jesus and Lucifer are brothers, that you don't know if you're saved until you get to Heaven, that the book of mormom is the only book for you and oh yeah, you're in a cult
Edit: The LDS church is a cult. Joseph Smith was a false prophet, and the so called doctrine of your faith is not even in your book of mormon, and its certainly not in the Bible. Oh and Baptist don't drink or smoke either.
