so i have long brown hair, blue eyes and fair skin. i was wanting to get my hair died [professionaly] blonde at the top and black underneath.
this is what i look like....

Fair skin looks best with lighter tones of hair. Black might be a little to drastic, and it would probably make you look very pale and pasty. I have very fair skin so I get light golden highlights for my chestnut brown hair. If you want to dye your hair a different color good considerations that I believe would suit you would be:
A light auburn (red)
A soft cinnamon brown with light gold highlights
A dark blonde with streaks of dirty blonde
( When you say blonde on the top and black underneath, i think you mean low lights) Black for this would be very extreme. If you wanted to do the blonde, a light brown or dark blonde lowlight would look really good. The lowlights make hair look very voluminous.

A shade of natural ash blonde would actually be very pretty on you if you wanted to go lighter. You look very nice with your hair as is as well. I would not do the two-toned blonde on black thing though. Whenever I see someone with their hair done that way I think of a skunk. It's not attractive.

Don't do that blonde at the top thing jus lighten up ur brown to a more hazelish colour and depending how long jus cut it a little, NOT much jus enough to look elegant an smart at the same time.

I think you're hair looks good just the way it is. Personally, I don't really like that look with blonde on top and black on the bottom. It just looks really unnatural.

I like your hair the way it is. Two-toned hair is to Laguna Beach for me. But if you wanted to change your hair I think it would look nice with some reddish caramel highlights in it.
