I have nothing but good things to say about the free tax prep at http://freetax.mortgageous.com - you don't pay a dime for preparing, e-filing, and printing a standard return, regardless of income level.
I really like that they guarantee your tax return will be 100% accurate or they pay all the penalties. And they have free support if you get stuck.

You can use the free efile sites listed on the IRS website--Here is the link to get you started:
http://www.irs.gov/efile/article/0,,id=118986,00.html
If your income is $52,000 or less, you can efile your Federal return for free. It will tell you at the end whether there is a charge or not, but if you meet the income guidelines, there is no need to worry about that. However, if you are filing a State return at the same time, there probably will be a fee for filing.
