Ask your dermatologist. If the acne is serious enough, she will prescribe something oral like adoxa. You can't pick it up without a perscription. It really works, too.

Over the counter products for acne aren't worth using, you should see either a dermatologist or your primary care physician to obtain a prescrition medication. Depending on how serious your acne is or isn't, some doctors believe in topical treatments only. However, for more serious acne, doctors usually prescribe antibiotics like tetracylcine or minocylcine to be taken everyday to prevent pustule formation. Your doctor may deem it necessary for a heavy dose antibiotic therapy intially, usually they choose to use a Z-pak (zithromax) -- a great product that you only have to take for 5 days. However, it decreases the effectiveness of birth control, so if you're sexually active, be careful! Sometimes, doctors choose topical and oral therapy combinations and these work great as well! Best of luck to you!

From your doctor. The over the counter ones are a waste of money.
