I know sane and obsessing don't belong in the same sentence but I like to journal so I can get my thoughts out of my head. What do you do?

Journalling helps but I usually need someone to tell me to snap out of it. Talking to people helps because I'm not all walled up inside my head, bouncing around in there with my thoughts. That truly makes me crazy.

You need to find something do it. An actual activity. Go volunteer somewhere. Get out of your own head and don't spend too much time writing in a journal. It just keeps the obsessive thoughts going on and on.

Obsess about something else!
Something positive....
Something that you've wanted to obsess about but haven't!

A new obsession that leads to some sort of sanity!
