Lots of people buy babies in this world. I guess if she has to be stringently tested like all other people in the world who adopt then i think it is fair. I understand your point but i feel that the most important point in this issue is that the child is going to a home that is loving & free from abuse of any kind. Any people that can offer that to a child that would otherwise be living a terrible existence, then it is ok & dare i say, good.

To be honest regular people pay too. My friend adopted a baby from China and they had to take "gifts" for the government and orphanage workers. It ended up costing them $25,000+. I guess Angelina Jolie is getting ripped off since she's paying so much more!

How do you know she's paying millions? And, even if she were, that's her business and she's offering this little boy a wonderful chance. He now has a family! I envy the whole Jolie-Pitt bunch because they must have a lot of love going on! Hats off to Angie!

You don't know what your talking about. There is nothing wrong with international adoption. It doesn't cost millions of dollars. And its not buying people. It's paying for the process of adopting your child.

Well, if you are going to look at it that way, all adoptions are "buying" kids aren't they????
Why else would you have to pay thousands of dollars?
To us it's millions, but to her it's like the thousands we pay.
Regardless, she is making a childs life better and that's what counts.

Hey, I'm wondering why, with several million kids here in the states that need a good home, she couldn't find one here??? I think she just did it for the exposure.

Who cares what her reasons are, those kids will have everything they need instead of a miserable life.
