Rice and beef? Sounds good. Brown your beef cubes and sweat your onions in the fat, add your garlic and rice (rinsed and dried). Add your cooking liquid, bring to boil, then cover and turn to simmer. let sit covered for twenty minutes, When the rice is done, stir (the onion and tomato will be on the bottom) and let rest for a few. Top it with your beef and enjoy!

danny, please, with some of those basic ingredients the whole world is at your doorstep! Go to www.foodtv.ca for tons of excellent ideas. My favourite of all is "Chef at Home". He is so cool, and he doesnt follow a receipe. He is a Chef by trade and been all around the world so he knows what goes with what. His receipies are the ones to look over. They are under different catagories for referance such as "Pork", or "Salads" etc. The other tv programs might be good too. Hope this answers your question and that you might forever enjoy Michael Smiths food, soooo goood! :) Let me know how it turns out. :) Rick/bc/canada

My mom would make swiss steak minus the rice and serve it over mashed potatoes but you could probably eat it with the rice! Better homes & gardens cookbooks has recipes for swiss steak.
