This site tells you about the New England’s immigration streams differ from those of the United you should really check it out..

Stateshttp://www.bos.frb.org/commdev/immigration/caprofileOverview.htm

Plus this is what I found out by searching a couple site...

serious crime rates are not generally higher in the United States than England. (All references to England include Wales.) According to 1995 victim surveys -- which measure robbery, assault, burglary, and motor vehicle theft -- crime rates are all higher in England than the United States. According to latest (1996) police statistics -- which measure incidents reported to police of murder, rape, robbery, assault, burglary, and motor vehicle theft -- crime rates are higher in England for three crimes: assault, burglary, and motor vehicle theft (figures 5-10). The 1996 crime rate for a fourth crime (robbery) would have been higher in England than the United States had English police recorded the same fraction of robberies that came to their attention as American police!

Take no notice of the many illiterate, ignorant answers you have received above. criticising England. It is a lovely country with great people and the food is international. You don't get stuffed with huge portions of garbage like you do in America. The weather is often colder than in a lot of parts of America, but there is very little rain (there's been a major, serious drought there for some years now).

You will notice that a lot of things are smaller, like the cars, but that's actually GOOD (ethical!). The traffic is pretty bad because there are too many people crammed onto a small island. The TV, though, is far better than in America because it's quality, not quantity that counts (a lot of Americans don't realize this!). I visited America and found that although there are 5,000 channels, about two of them were worth watching.

People are generally more broad-minded than in America, because of the proximity to Europe and the great multiculturalism. They do realize that there ARE other countries outside their own, which a lot of Americans don't.

But why not visit first, then decide if you want to move there. You'll still need a work permit though. Good luck.

England is going downhill. A LOT of people living here.. given the choice... would leave.

It's expensive, it's built up, it's trashy...
England is a lot less social than other countries.
Overrun by chavs.
Majority of the education is far behind places like the USA.
There is nothing special about the place...

England is not a nice place... (in MY opinion... and many others)

I'm sorry but..if you don't like where you live... move to a different area..

Or Australia or New Zealand or something!

Australia would be better than England. I love being an American but our sorry government is doing everything in their power to kill that love.

Hawaii is always an option. The state is increasingly becoming more and more wealthy. When you're there it's hard to believe you're still in the US.

I really don't think it's that much better. England usually backs Americas ideology

My fiance says the food sucks.

Also, they have about 4 TV channels. And you need to buy a permit to watch it.
