I am in high school and i have been going out with this girl for about two months. We never really talked to each other before this year but we became friends at the beginning of the school year. Eventually it turned into more than friendship. I get the feeling that she REALLY likes me but at this point I dont really feel the same way and I think that we are better off apart. How should I go about breaking up with her? It is especially difficult because I am friends with a lot of her friends.

Talk to her face to face. Tell her that you don't feel the same way that she does and that you think that you would be better off as friends. Then don't date anyone else right away. Because if you do, it will look like you broke it off to be with someone else. After breaking up, be mature about it. If you are friends with a lot of her friends, you will be seeing her around a bunch. So, if you treat her good, her friends won't have a reason not to be friends with you anymore.

I think you should talk to her right away! The longer you hold off the harder it will be for her. In her mind she's probably planning prom. Just tell her how you feel and that you care too much about her to lead her on. Do it in person. Tell her before you tell your friends. Just treat her like you'd want to be treated if the roles were reversed and you will be fine. P.S. After you break up with her, try not get involved with anyone else too soon, at least not someone at your school. Good luck.

I would tell her. If I was you I would be a man and man up and tell her the truth. There is no easy way to break up in time she may forgive you or the two of you can move faster then just staying because you don't want to hurt her feelings. The worst thing to do is not telling her and she finding out from your friends or seeing with another girl. That is 10 time worst. Just tell her man.

omg whatevr u do, don't just keep the relationship going cuz u dont want 2 hurt her feelings. i was in a situation like that, and beleive me, it hurts 10 times more 2 find out thats the only thing that kept u going. so break up with her in a nice way, dont just like dismiss her or sumthing. and acuatlly talk 2 her in front of her friends, so she knows that u still care about her, even if it's just in a friendly way. good luck

If you haven't dated her yet then let her see you with another girl. But if the case is different then you have to tell her to stay as good friends and stop the love things. Since you don't want to lose your friendship with her friends you can't go out and cheat on her cos that would ruin everything.

Argh! That's a tough question. Well maybe you two go somewhere sometime and have a nice long talk and tell her exactly how you feel but after the break up please don't lead her on and give her mixed signals, but make sure you absolutely want to break up and it will be something you won't regret.

Maybe you should give it more time....I did that with my ex-best friend and after i did I missed him like crazy and he wouldnt go back out...Now he isnt even my friend....You will miss her once she is gone....give it more time!!!
