How do I get direct3d on my computer? i have directdraw, but i need direct3d to play a game i just bought (stronghold 2.) i have an intel drive if that helps.

You need a Direct3D capable graphics card, aka DirectX. Any computer should have DirectX, so I really can't see why you don't have DirectX. Maybe your card doesn't support the latest DirectX? Upgrade graphics card. First, you gotta know what your PC can expand to. Contact the maker, or look inside for an AGP Slot (Brown), PCI-e (Black most of the time, but it can vary) or PCI (white most of the time, but can also vary) and upgrade accordingly. =)

PS: You can try installing DirectX, see if it works...
