Yes, as long as you were not in a previous romantic relationship and looking to rekindle. Or drunk. Drunk dialing is bad. Trust me. Looking at my screen name if you dont beleive me.
Make up an excuse that you saw/heard/read something that reminded you of them and wanted to say hi, because it has been to long and that you are horrible about maintaining freindships, but you felt it was important.
