I have a forced hot water heating system. Looking to determine how much fin tube radiator I need to heat the room efficently

You need to do a heat loss calculation for the room. The calculation requires the size of the room, windows, doors, insulation, type of construction. The result will be in BTUs. Baseboard radiation is listed in BTU per foot. You need to provide enough baseboard to match the heat loss calc. Most plumbing / heating supply stores will do a heat loss calc for you if you buy the baseboard from them. Make sure your boiler has the capacity for the additional load. If it does not, then it will be running longer, working harder, and costing you more money for heat than it should.

how many outside walls? how many windows in the room? square footage of room?
