I cannot say whether reincarnation really happens. However, I'd have to say any manner of reincarnation it is pointless without the transfer of memory and identity.

I think it is important to remember that even Buddha did not see reincarnation as an end in itself, but something to avoid by reaching Nirvana. Most eastern religions agree that reincarnation is more of a punishment for failure than something to actively seek.

The bible states that it is appointed ONCE for a man to die and then the judgement. The bible has historical, archelogical and numerous fulfilled prophecy to back it up. No other religious text can say this.

Consider this carefully. Reincarnation offers no hope. You never know for certain if your karma will condemn you to be reincarnated as a flea or a person. The bible gives us certain HOPE, that any who believe will be saved.

From a Christian point of view:

The Bible tells us that a person has only one life, but, it does not tell us if that life is spiritual or physical. We know that spiritual life never ends, but, does that mean it cannot have multiple physical lives?

If we believe that multiple lives are allowed and that the spiritual being is supposed to make a choice between only good and evil, heaven and hell then believing that your spirit would just continue to be reborn in the world of people would constitute a rejection of heaven.

In other words, reincarnation might exist. BUT, if we believe that we will be reincarnated we have made a choice of not going to heaven and therefore end up in hell.

So the best reincarnation choice, from a Christian point of view, is to live this life to it's fullest and make the best choices you can during this life.

Reincarnation is for sure. When I was four years old I remember playing in the back yard and thinking about the subject. I didn't know there was a name for it I just knew that when a person dies they will come back as somebody else.

I don't remember any lives before this one, except for bits and pieces that may only be flashes of nothing. But none of what I may remember took place in anything other than as a human being. It's less likely you'll remember things that happened before you learned to talk, they say. The only reason I think of reincarnation is because it's the only way I can think of for everyone to make it to union with God. And I don't expect anything less than that.

If there are more people and animals on the world today than there were a couple thousand years ago, where did all the sould come from?

Reincarnation is an interesting concept, but false nonetheless.

Non-existent. Aside from the ludicrous premise, the numbers don't pan out - previously dead and now living. And they'll just get worse as time goes on. There's *no* reincarnation, and *no* supernatural at all. Never has been. Never will be.

Reincarnation is the dumbest concept ever created. Previous and next lives don't exist.

I don't beali Oh wait wait... Cats. There are so many damn cats they have to reincarnate. After all every time you masturbate God kills a kitten. If they didn't reincarnate there wouldn't be a cat left alive.
