There aren't many recorded instances. But of course the accounts are trying to cram his teaching and mission in to a short space. What we have inevitable just picks up on the key facts about him. He did have rest and relaxation breaks when they must have relaxed and enjoyed themselves with light conversation.
He called brothers James and John "sons of thunder" because they were argumentative.
He did rub it in a bit with the religious leaders. Eg. The Good Samaritan parable. The people who walk by the burgled, wounded victim who the samaritan helps are religious types.
As someone else has said, he did use greatly exaggerated images at times .. very comical .. to make a point.

I believe he did. When the 72 returned from their mission he rejoiced in the Spirit. He was both God and man so there is no reason why he didn't laugh or have a sense of humor. All people do.
By the way, I have a picture of a laughing Jesus in our dining room.
Peace and every blessing!

I guess he would have had to have a sense of humor
After what he went through for so many people
To look down to see how it has been interpreted to feed greed and power, so churches can gain control over the people
Jesus came to teach Love & Compassion and equality between Men & Women.
How his words were twisted just makes me laugh
Love & Blessings

Yes a very clean sense of humor. Unfortuanatly setting the example for all mankind he did not have the time to be humerous. There is only so much room in a book.

Since God created us in His image and we certainly have the ability to have a sense of humour I would have to say yes.
An example of God's humor is the instance in which the Israelites were using the Ark of the Covenant like a good-luck charm in taking it to battle, and the Philistines ended up capturing it and placing it in their temple before their idol of Dagon. They came into the temple the next day and found Dagon flat on his face before the ark. They set him back up. The next morning, there he was again, but this time he had his hands and head cut off as a symbol of his powerlessness before the God of the ark (1 Samuel 5:1-5). God’s putting Dagon in a position of submission to His ark is a comical picture.
This incident is an example of God laughing at the foolishness of those who would oppose Him. “See what they spew from their mouths— they spew out swords from their lips, and they say, ‘Who can hear us?’ But you, O LORD, laugh at them; you scoff at all those nations” (Psalm 59:7-9). Psalm 2 also reveals God laughing at those who would rebel against His kingship (verse 4). It is like the comical picture of a kindergarten-aged child being upset at his parents and running away from home...all the way to his neighbor’s house. But there is obviously a serious side to this as well, and although the picture of weak and silly man trying to match wits with an almighty and all-knowing God is comical, God takes no delight in their waywardness and its consequences but rather desires to see them turn around (Ezekiel 33:11; Matthew 23:37-38).

I thought it was humorous when He wrote on the ground while the woman caught in the act of adultery was being yelled at by the church do gooders and said, "Ye who are without sin cast the first stone."
That was humorous to me.

Good Question. I'm guessing yes, he hung around a lot of sinners I'm sure they were cutting up all the time. However I don't think his purpose on Earth was to do good 5 minute set of stand up.

Sure he did, when he called the Pharisees hypocrites he told them first remove the beam of wood from their eyes and then they could see to remove the splinter from their neighbor's. The visual of that actually happening would be hilarious.
