I have a friend that i have not seen in 2 years......my dad would let me go visit her once every 6 months and i really want to see her. how do i convince her?(the reason i can't get premission from my dad is cause he is dead)

First, who is paying for the trip?
Secondly, your mom must not trust you;
what have you done to make her feel this way toward you?
Thirdly, what kind of friend are we talking about?
Lastly, grow up! Sometimes "we" need to understand that
somethings are not as needed as we think..
Get a job and then go take a hike!!!

Instead of trying to convince her, try another approach. Ask your mom if your friend can come see you instead. Have your mom talk to your friend's parent to work out the dates and times and stuff. Hope it works!

Could it be that your mom knows what is best for you? Could it be since your dad is gone that she might be afraid of losing you? Not knowing all the facts those are the two best answers I have for you..
