This person wants me to e-file her taxes to get it back in a couple of weeks, but she doesn't have a bank account to have it deposited into. All the programs I've worked with online needs an account to transfer funds into.

My son used H & R Block online and did not use direct deposit when he efiled. He just had his check sent to our home. It was pretty fast too---maybe not as fast as direct deposit but his check came only one week later than our direct deposit---and we efiled on the same day. Other than that, there is not much you can do if the person does not have a bank account for the IRS to deposit her refund into.

You can e-file your return and have them send a check. Direct deposit is a seperate thing from e-filing. Just don't enter a bank account number.

You can e-file any where, with out giving out your bank account, but if you go online they will probably want you to pay them(their service) by a credit card number. Your refund and or amounts due to the govt can be paid by sending in a check.
