I am constantly getting symptoms as if I have a fever. Sweating, aches, foggy headedness, feeling internal heat, clammyness, fatigue. I feels as if I am running a fever. But if I take my temperature, it's normal. This sometimes happens several times a month. I am currently having the symptoms, but I have head congestion too. Anyone know what this is? It's frustrating because sometimes I feel too sick to go to work, but I can't tell what's wrong with me!

It sounds like hot flashes... have you spoken with an MD?

sweetheart, it could be a number of different things. but there is one thing that stands out in my mind more than anything. have you ever heard of Fibromyalgia? that's what comes to my mind more than anything else. you just have some classic symptoms.
do you have trouble sleeping? or resting? do you have muscle twitches? muscle weakness? have any numbness in your hands, feet, arms, or legs? tightness in your muscles? abnormal irritability? joint pain? joints that are hot to the touch?
these are just some questions I really want you to ask yourself, and if you find yourself answering yes to several of them, you should see a doctor and be evaluated for it.
there is presently no cure for Fibromyalgia, but it is treatable. if you have it, you will be sent to a Rheumatologist who will help you by putting you on the proper medications to help you manage your pain levels, and that weird "brain fog" that goes along with the disease.
I'm going to check back on your question to see if you've added anything else.
Fibromyalgia doesn't usually travel alone. you may have it for several years, and then come down with another auto-immune disease. it usually accompanies Systemic Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, etc.
I hope you have none of these conditions, but if it turns out that you do, I'm living proof that you can live a pretty normal life anyway!
I will certainly keep you in my prayers.
