Try increasing your activity and watch to make sure you eat a balanced diet. Cut way down on your carbs and eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Take some cut raw veggies to school to snack on. Don't worry so much about your weight. If you eat a healthy diet and exercise you'll be fine and those extra pounds may drop off. Surely you can convince one of your lunch buddies to do the same.

Hi Catalina, that is a very good idea. I am much older (in my 50's) and I have a diet buddy at work and it really does keep you both motivated! We talk about what is working for us and what triggers our appetites; give each other moral support when one of us wants something on the "FORBIDDEN" list... good luck! Also please remember not to get too carried away with your dieting; it can become addictive and you don't want that! Perhaps consult an adult you admire, or your Dr about what is a good weight loss for someone your age. Don't try to look like the fashion models! BE YOURSELF!!!

i think all of you getting healthy is great, but keep in mind you are only 15, and if you are looking to lose 10 pounds, i wouldn't worry about it, you still have some growing to do. regular exercise and healthy eating habits are wonderful, but please don't try to restrict yourself...if you are overweight, and I mean like could lose more than 30 pounds, then see your doctor before doing anything drastic....keep up the activities and try your hardest to avoid junk food and i think you will all be fine

omg honey! u don't need to go on a diet at ur age! u will thin out and lose the baby fat....just eat alot of fruits and veggies and make sure to work in an exercise plan!
