Ah............ Jesus had an earthly father who was Joseph, But he didn't impregnate Mary.
If God, the higher Power, created such an amazing universe, then why would it be impossible for such a creator to combine His DNA with that of a woman? Thus......Jesus is God's son and Mary was His mother.
If you don't believe in a God, then it is logical that you would also not believe it possible for virgin woman to give birth without sexual contact with a man.
Unless your girlfriend has been chosen to give birth to a second son of God, then there is no way for her to do so.
The Old Testment told of one son of God, thus Jesus is the one.
If you don't have faith and belief in Christanity then I understand why you think a virgin birth is impossible.

Unlike the morals of today, a girl did not have sex before marriage back then. It was strictly taboo. Joseph found out that Mary was pregnant, and 99.9% of men back then would have written her off, but Joseph knew Mary well enough to know that when Mary became pregnant through God's holy spirit, it was true. Sometimes the simplest things just don't seem real, but when you back them up with all the other facts, it is true. I hope you will read the Bible, and believe it for yourself.

No.
She really had a son and conceived by the Holy Spirit.
At the time, even she said this:
Luke 1:34. And Mary said to the angel: How shall this be done, because I know not man?
1:35. And the angel answering, said to her: The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee and the power of the Most High shall overshadow thee. And therefore also the Holy which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Rom 1:3 says Joseph was the father (since Mary was not a decendant of David and Joseph was.)

I do not know that answer but I do know with faith and prayer and obediance to Gods commandments he will reveal certain things to us.
Why do you suppose Jesus came to earth beyond setting the example?
Maybe to become like his father?
Do you think we are here to learn to make right and wrong and learn to be more like God?
I testify that you will get the answers you want from God through this church.
The reason that you are not getting answers is because you are looking in the wrong places.
It is a promise from God that if you read the book of Mormon and pray to God in the name of Christ that he will reaveal his answer to you.
I have got mine and would bet my familys life on this challenge.
Good Luck

Back then, if a girl got pregnant, she would say God is the father so she wouldn't be beaten.
