Petfinders.org has dogs listed in local shelters and for sale by breeders. Your local shelter or SPCA can help as well. They will put your name on a list and compare it to any dogs they receive that matches that description. It may take awhile but it can be worth it.
A Yorkie may be hard to find, they are usually expensive little dogs. You may try a Yorkie Rescue site, which would charge an adoption fee and you aren't always sure why the dog is there. Good luck.

OK well whatever you do, do NOT fall for those African scams. Africa is full of scams.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A "SMALL" or "TEACUP" or "MINI" or "TINY" ANYTHING!!!! They are just small, UN-HEALTHY, UN-WANTED RUNTS that will grow up with HEAPS of HEALTH PROBLEMS that will cost you TENS of THOUSANDS of DOLLARS to cure.

With that said, http://www.petfinder.com is an excellent website to look for shelter dogs in need of homes. They have all breeds there and are between $FREE and $400 depending on which organization and breed you get. Just type in Yorkshire Terrier and your zip code/state and look at the adorable, homeless dogs there in need of a forever home.

first of all, are you beneficial you desire a dogs. I truly have a small dogs and he's ALOT of artwork. He must be walked on a regular basis, muddle knowledgeable, fed the superb suited weight-help plan , ect. i'd reccomend a small dogs while you're a begginer, at the same time with a yorshire terrior, westie, jack russell, yet once you're entirly specific on a meduim dogs then what some beagle? Shiba Inu? Chow Chow?

Anything that involves a country that isn't the US or Canada is usually a scam. Especially if it's anywhere in Africa.

MINIAATURE DOCSHUNDS (sp?) I Have one. They are so amazing, adorable and funny. She is full grown and 11 lbs. She just loves to cuddle, every waking minute. she follows my mom around everywhere. she's a mama's girl. she goes crazy for squeaky toys though. we call it her "sparkle" attitude, thats when she goes crazy running around at a zipping speed. she loves squeaky stuffed toys. but she loves to cuddle and she is SO smart. you HAVE to get one!

Your best bet is to check with local shelters. One major rule to follow is never buy from someone you don't know or haven't been recomended to.
