How to ask out a girl?

I want to know how to ask a girl out because I'm kinda shy and I don't want to choke in front of her. Any advice?

Be yourself. Try to get her when she is alone and just ask. Shyness sometimes will work, depending on the girl. Just remember, if you never ask you will never really know.

Public humiliation. You have to humiliate yourself, while making her look good and showing her that you are interested.

A good example is singing a horribly cheesy upbeat love song in a public place, dedicated to her.
If she listens to the entire song smiling, you are in. If she walks away disgusted, then never look at her again.

I would tell you be nice and honest but not too honest. Compliment her when you aproach her. Try starting with hello. I would tell you don't go too fast, just ask her for lunch or some coffee or a movie. Nothing major. Nine times out ten it works. Just make sure you make her smile. It goes a long way.
