The DaVinci code is fiction, with a lot of historical fact thrown in,ande in it Jesus gets very crucified if I remember correctly. Awesome book by the way, read it yet? Somehow I doubt it sparky, just spouting what your preacher told you aren't you? And there is not one secular document I've ever heard of or seen that says anything about Jesus from his time, the only thing I know of from his time that professes his life is the book written by his followers. In fact I think it was essentially a non event to the romans,as in they didn't care, until years later when Constantine had to force Christianity upon his people in order to keep the Christian fanatics from ripping his empire apart.

Jesus did no longer coach scripture on my own. and a great number of what hes stated and did is a factor of our -- Catholic -- unwritten history. the hot testomony isn't a transcript of each 2nd of Jesus's life or ministry. that's the tale of the fondation and early formation of the catholic churhc. The Gosples are the speivifc trainng that Jesus first bishops recived at his hand -- He hadn possibilities them trains them appoints a pacesetter, ordains him is crucified rises type the ded and ordains the the rest. Int he interim instuting the scaraments. The gosples are extra and description highlighten the main iimportant spects of Jesus's venture which grew to become into to discovered His kingdom on earth, which includes teh instution of the sacraments. UNderstood in this contxt sripture makes appropriate sense. exterior of this context that's mindless and all varieties of errenous notions and missunderstandings are produced. This si why -- the context -- that's somewhat hassle-free for a catholic to communicate a protestant particualrly the sola -scrupture or "fundies" becasue all of us comprehend the trutht and the genuine context so we've the actual fact with us, and might easliy straineout fake concepts brough approximately with the help of each indiviudal inperpting the owrds for themselves. So no no longer something might desire to be extra fro the actual fact Jesu gave scripture that's stunning and positively exalted palce yet he did no longer convey the concept of sola sripture or he might have wrote himslef, he might have spent his time writng and not fouodning he church. Sola scripture is a sort of idolatry which negates the actul jesus, aND UINDEED a private REALTIONSTHP WITH HIM it is barely available in the process the sacrametns.. It elavtes the bible to the sataus of God. certainly many call it the understand god while actually weknow that jesus is the understand god and the bible includes the words of god.

I did not realize that "The DaVinci Code" denied that Jesus the Christ was crucified. Than again I am getting old and the ol' memory ain't the best. I guess I'll have to read it again.

The DaVincie Code is a fictional book.

Personally I don't have a way to check the accuracy or the Koran.

I think your question is more of a statment than a question.

Do your own research. The Da Vinci code does not deny Jesus' crucifixion, and in any event it is a work of fiction. The Qur'an does not deny it either; it does deny the resurrection story. The Qur'an has errors, but this is not one of them.

Because there is proof that someone did get crucified that looked like Jesus.
Muslims believe that Jesus was ascended into heaven and never died.
Someone who looked exactly like Jesus (pbuh) took his place and that was his punishment from God.
There is evidence that someone did die on the cross, and was crucified but muslims do not believe that it was Jesus but Christians do.

Ever notice that the Da Vinci code is fiction? Have you also noticed secular histories seem to be devoid of Jesus' life? Hmm... Maybe your Jesus is a lie...

We do believe Jesus was on the cross but that Allah took him before the body died and therefor we do not believe he died on the cross. You are the one who should be checking there facts before stating what others believe.

Which written historical "artifact" do you refer to? I'd like to see a list, please, with verifiable provenances.
