1, 4, 5. United States
2. Canada
3. Mexico
s-z: europe
a-h: africa
j-r: asia

theres more but these are the biggies

Country of origin. 1=United States.

There are more than 10 countries which make cars, so they ran out of digits and had to go to letters.
