The traditional ratio of seven human years to one dog year is heavily weighted toward the first year in a dog's life. At 2 1/2 months old, your dog is basically a toddler, no longer depending on its mother for food, getting around surprisingly quick, and probably getting into trouble pretty easily too.

well first you have to multiply 2 1/2 by seven.... so your dog is about 14 or fifteen years old and 3 months 28 days

ie. If a dog is 2 years old in people years , it would be 14 in dog years. Get it?

A dog reaches adulthood within the first couple years. By popular belief it is NOT 7 yrs====to 1 human yr., The forula is 10.5 yrs per human year for the first 2 yrs.----Then 4 dog yrs.

I found it on the calculator...I did:
2.5(2 1/2 ) x 7 and I got 17.5(17 1/2).
I think your dog is about 17 1/2 years old....or 14 1/2....sorry.....lol

it translates out to 1.45833333333
The average acvcepted rule is every human year is like 7 in dog years... Lets do the math...
1 year divided by 2.5 months... about 4.8 months...
divide that by the 7 years in the dogs time...

About 4.2 years. They estimate seven human years per dog year. I just divided 12 by 7got 1.7 than timed by 2.5. This is a rough estimate. I don't think anybody truly knows the EXACT time. Have fun with your new puppy.
