I have just moved into a new home and in one of the rooms the wardrobe doors are very poorly painted.I want to strip them back to wood and re paint but do not want to have them dipped,can anyone help with any tips on easy ways to do this....thanks

There are many paint strippers on the market. Be careful to read the label though, because most need to be used in a well ventilated area. This means you will need to remove the doors and take them somewhere else, preferably outside. You could just sand them down smooth and then repaint.

Be very carefull about stripping thin veneer type doors, if thats what you have. If they are already painted, just light sand and re paint them. a word on using strippers on veneer- most of them will raise the grain of the wood to the point where you may have to sand them anyway.
