I agree that we shouldn't. Simply for the reason that we shouldn't be a friend the world (popularity). If you are a friend of the "world then, you are not a friend of God." It is a harsh concept for people- who want to be Christians to swallow, but it is the truth. IMHO I, even, sometimes waiver...

It is being done now and will continue to be.

The Church is not going to get stronger, it will get weaker.
The world system will get stronger.
The Church is keeping the evil at bay
It is like salt perserving the meat.
Take away the salt and the rot sets in very quickly.

As will happen.
Pay attention.

2 Th 2:7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way.

Immoral people that think they are christians want to bring in the church what makes them feel good so they can feel justified in their sin. It's everywhere
