I have an MP3 to MIDI converter. Except that the song doesn’t exactly copy the MP3 instruments to sound perfect. What is wrong? I have tried many converts to no avail. I even have a piano connected to my computer with advanced software but still nothing sounds good.

It's not possible, and here's why.

MP3, WAV and other sound files are simple digital recordings of sound. MIDI are the NOTES that are played on a synthesizer. MIDI files simply are NOT sound files at all, but playback sequences.

So use the software that came with your piano, and create your own MIDI files. If you can't PLAY, then look for existing MIDI files to re-create someone elses musical creation.

Look for MIDI programs like CakeWalk or Band-in-a-box

Good luck and Happy Computing!

um... do you have even the slightest clue how MIDI works?

obviously when you play back the MIDI file it's going to sound like whatever instruments the synthesizer you're using has. You can't make it exactly reproduce the sound of a recorded track.
