It's safe (on occasion) but my dogs prefer an apple now and then that has been cut into small bites. Discontinue if any sign of diarrhea. Remember NOT to give your dog grapes or raisins--causes kidney failure.

I wouldn't hesitate to feed a dog bananas but I don't think he/she will eat them. Chocolate is really bad for dogs so don't give your dog any.

yes it is fine for your dog to eat a banana! I fed my dogs bananas all the time and surprisingly they love the sweet taste! but remember never EVER feed your dogs grapes or rasins they are highly toxic to doggies!

My 100pd bullmastiff has taken to fruit for some reason-especialy bananas. He can hear me in the kitchen breaking them off and he comes running. I think that anything not on a pet diet in excess is bad. BUT...they are just so cute when they beg and who can resist sharing?...he hasn't gotten sick yet. Use moderation and know your pet's limits.

i do and my dogs go bananas for bananas!!!! but. dont feed them the skin or the butt of the banana.

sure if your dog likes them but... only once a week. Bananas are good for potassium )muscle) but can also bind the bowls, once a week for a treat will do it.

Yeah..Just not so much she/he gets the runs..My dogs love bananas..Unless bananas is your dogs sis/brother.In which case no! Don't eat bananas....

Yes, it is very safe. so long as the pieces are not too large. It is best to feed them from the hand, as my dogs like them -- and apples, oranges, pears, you name it.

Our Lab loves bananas so I give them to him as a treat. I usually will cut them up and freese them and he just goes crazy over them.

Yeah you can give them bananas but just not on a daily basis!
