Great Question. I'm not sure why, but think about how much time we spend on our feet and how much "abuse" they go thru on a daily basis. If the worst we have to deal with is dry and cracked feet. we're doing pretty good.
If its a problem for you, try slathering your feet in vaseline and put socks on before you go to bed. Also, apply lotion in morning or during the day. Or, better yet, go get a pedicure and let a pro smooth your rough skin.

I would think that with the moisture in your shoes it would cause dry skin and cracking. Put vasaline on your feet at bed and put socks on over it. That helps.

The weight of your entire body is supported on the bottoms of your feet. Also most people wear shoes every day. If you have serious problems with your feet, I would recommend that on your days off from work or school you wear only sandals or some type of slippers so that your feet can breathe.

my heels are ALWAYS dry, I put lotion on them, I think because we walk on our feet so much that they start to get like for some people (like me) We use our hands so much they get dry, it's very natural though.
