You can't use the Bible otherwise that is circular argument. Why do you think it is logical to believe what you believe? Can you give me any examples?

Please, only intelligent answers. I don't need people reading passages from the Bible to me.

Isn't that a bit like asking someone to prove that, say, evolution is correct, without quoting from any textbook?
However, let's give it a shot.
For me, it is illogical to believe that the universe just popped into existence. I know other people don't agree, and that's just fine, you asked MY stance, not someone else's. Given, then, that a couple of bits of matter did not just appear from nothing, bump into one another in the middle of nowhere, and BLAM, a universe sprang into being...which, by the way, is everything-that-exists, and yet, seems to be expanding...into nothing, I guess...well, there has to be some other explanation. The best explanation seems to be the "Intelligent Designer" explanation...again, this works for me. If it doesn't work for you, that's fine.
Next, WHICH "Intelligent Designer"? Of course, I'd been taught about the Christian God since childhood, so I suppose I had a bit of a predilection to go with what I knew, but I grew up in the sixties, when relligions were to be had for a penny a piece...indeed, if you didn't like this one, someone could and would invent a new one for you at the drop of the proverbial hat. It seemed to me, after alot of reading and contemplating, that there was a similar theme in most of these "religions". Yeah, we all know how universal the flood story is, but have you ever noticed how many dying and ever-living saviors there have been? How could that be? Unless.....
Well, my little mind decided that it must be so, but maybe there is actually more to it than even Christianity knows. I believe in my heart of hearts that "the fall" was a cosmic event....hence, entropy. And I believe, as well, that "redemption" was also a "cosmic event". Not only this world, but the entire universe will be re-built, this time, no entropy, no destruction...no DEATH!!
OH, my tenth grade biology teacher (I had a HUGE crush on him, he was such a CUTIE!) had alot to do with my epiphany, when he explained to the class that energy, while it can change form, can not be created, or destroyed. Sooo...went my little mind...what is life, then, if it is not energy? Then...life cannot be created...at least not by other than God, Who is the Source of all Energy...nor can it be destroyed. If it cannot be destroyed, but only change it's form....
Well, you see what I'm getting at, I'm sure.
God bless you.

Listen I didn't grow up in a church and if I tried to understand what was in the bible I couldn't..I didn't even want to pick it up after a while, but then one day I cried out to God to help me or I was going to kill myself. He did and I wanted to understand how God's love was that I knew that I knew he was helping me.
I found out that I had received the gift of wisdom and understanding and love to read the bible now. This is the only way I know to explain to you why I read the bible, just like it says it is for instruction, correction and some other things I can't remember right now.
Now,with what I know now of the truth and I have a sound mind by it I don't want to not have it in my life.
There is nothing that I can do to convince you, that is done by the Holy Spirit drawing you to God and if that is the case you will understand in due time, all I am doing is answering your question as to why it is logical to me.

How can you prove that it is wrong?

Here's something interesting. If you were to think about all the knowledge there is in the world, how much do you think you know? For example: Can tell me how some of the deep ocean sea life emit light? Can you tell when the sun will go out? is there still life beyond our solar system? Is there a spirit world?
How much knowledge do you think you know? 5%, 10%, ... what if (hypothetically) God exists in the other 90%. Would you throw yourself into thinking into opposition, because of humans?

The Bible is correct in science/biology, as it says that life is in the blood. The events as far as history goes are correct, such as the rule of kings, and wars, as compared to history books. The Bible is correct in science, as it says the heavens are stretched out..., we know that the universe is expanding. There are many manuscripts available, and all are nearly identical.

The bible is not just to give correction. But the bible is to live by and to show other's how to live the word of God. If we don't show how we live the word of God then people will not know that we are Christians.

But when ever we want to feed our soul! we read the King James Bible,New Testament!!! Do you want to take a chance on losing your soul! Now don't say you haven't been warned!!!

Those who lean unto there own understanding of scripture are leading others astray and blinded by their "pride!" But this has to occur for the Kingdom of God is coming to this earth and establish His way as the only way.

Pride is man's downfall. The End of the circle of man's self rule will be the beginning of Christ's Kingdom but that "pride" must be broken first!

I thing textually, and content wise, that it is still the same as it ever was.
There is wisdom in the Bible, you just have to be intelligence enough to apply it.

The state of mankind and the road he's on let's me know it is correct. atheism is a blind road into oblivion paved by the theories of men who would make themself's god.

Perhaps I'm intruding, but because the bible has errors, I'm not a Christian.
