I want to cut a picture on the internet, and make it a little clearer... do anyone know how to do it?
Say, I have this picture of this guy, and he has a really cool tattoo, so I want to cut out the tattoo only. And then bring it to the tattoo store...

To save a picture, you right click and click on "save image as".

Then you open it in an image editor, such as one of the free ones linked below, and crop to the area that you want.

If it is a small picture, and/or a low resolution picture, the quality is not going to be very good, and the smaller the area you crop is, the worse it will look. You can play around with the sharpen and other tools, but you just aren't going to get a clear image from it. You can't create what isn't there to begin with. There is a program called s-spline that can help ... but only marginally.

Best bet is to use a larger photo and one with higher resolution to start with.

if you're using windows, should have microsoft paint available on it, under accesories, open the pic using paint, or, when you double click on the image, right click on the image and select 'edit', paint should open by default, there is a dotted square in the tools on the left, it says 'select' when you mouse over it, use that to select your area you want to cut, then right click, select cut, open a new paint window a right click on the window, select paste, you dont have to save your modified image, it will stay whole for you as the original image still

Go to Start bar, then All Programs, Accessories, and then to Paint! Then you paste it to paint and click on the little dotted rectangle thing, go over the spot you want and then move the spot you wanted to some place that is clear in paint and then copy and paste it to wherever you wish!
