I want to live a healthier less angry life but it's hard when I couldn't get along with my neighbors a month ago, I always frequently get in little quarrels with my mother and sometimes my dad, and sometimes, when I get bad service at a fast food restaurant, I feel like blowing up in front of them! Please help, I don't know what else to do! I'm loosing my sanity like alot of stressed out people do.

Unfortunately some parents never teach their children how to deal with their emotions so they become locked into the easily frustrated\easily angered reaction when they are confronted with a situation that doesn't go according to their preconcieved notion of how it should go.

Remember, you can't change anyone. You can only change how you react.

The next time you feel yourself starting to get angry tell yourself, "stop".

Take a slow deep breathe and ask yourself why you are getting angry?

Is it something you can control?
Is it something the other person can control?
If it is, is there some reason why that person should handle it according to your desires even if they knew what your desires are...?
Will this all matter tomorrow?
An hour from now?
Is it worth weakening your arteries and heart over?

Just remember when you feel yourself getting angry, tell yourself , "stop". Take a deep slow breathe. Drop your shoulders and relax.

In life you cant get along with everyone. thats just how we are..because everyone is so differnt we will have to clash sometimes.

I think maybe if you can get your anger out in other ways instead of people it mite help you alittle bit. Sometiems when you have alot of anger inside you, you havent released yet you tend to take it out on people.

Try playing darts, or smashing some old plates, or yelling and screaming in the middle of know where! (thats always fun)

Or maybe there is something inside oyou that is causing this anger? maybe you need to sort that out inside you aswell.. Have you tried speeking to a counsellor? or your Dr.
I think that mite help.

Sounds as though you have alot of unresolved anger in you. I strongly encourage counseling to learn how to deal with your anger. This is definitely unhealthy and will not go away without you getting some help. It's treatable and you can change. Good luck.

Mel Gibson is that you? just kidding .. well i really don't know what to say. maybe there's something in your own personal life bothering you all the time that when something simple happens outside it makes you lash out on people. i don't want to sound Corny but her it goes "look with you for the answers, try to find out what really bothering you and fix it.
