She is a romantic and says she just wants, " a big gesture " from someone to tell her they really care about her. You know, some The Notebook type stuff, but I'm in college=not a lot of money and now that she has said something about what she wants I need to really find something original to do so that it doesn't look like I'm just doing something romantic cause she said something! I'm not sure what to do.

Romantic gestures are never really expensive. Find a nice building that will let you borrow their roof and plan a picnic under the stars (or in a park) or sneak up behind her and give her a huge hug and a single rose. Obviously proposing is out of the question and flying her to Italy would be corny. Just watch a few chick flicks and trust your gut. Either that or tell her that the big gesture will come in your language in your own time and she should love you for it.

Send flowers to her job with a card that tells her to meet you after work at Victoria Secrets or some candy store. When she gets there, have someone who works there on the look out for her, to hand her a nice gift in pretty box with a room key and another card that tells her to meet you at a very nice, 5 star hotel with a hot tub in the room. Be sure to have rose petals on the floor right outside the door. Fill the entire room with lavender scented candles. Add some lavender and rose petals to the hot tub, and make sure you have an ice bucket with her favorite campaign. Have the rose petals leading right to you in the hot tub. Don't stop there though. Give her a nice foot rub, with some lavender scented oil from Bath & Body Works (the kind that is warm when you rub it on) pamper her from head to toe. ...all of this may seem like a lot but, if you love her, then she's worth it. Not to mention the next guy, if you break up will have a very hard time competing with you!

You know what. Find something she really wants. My boyfriend found a picture I loved once. He spent all day on the internet tracking it down, found the photographer's website and then ordered it. He then had it framed and gave it to me for my birthday. It is hanging up and I'm looking at it right now. So, find her photograph, or whatever it is. What does she always talk about. Then get it and have it waiting for her when she comes home. Just because.

Or you can do something along the line of buying two copies of her favorite book and then read it together and when you are both done have a dinner out to discuss it. It would show her you care about the things she likes. Or movie works too for a quicker route.

Well, you know how women LOVE romantic stuff that their lovers give them.
Well, first, what is her favorite thing to do, what does she love to get, what is her favorite romantic place does she like to go, and to top it all off, give her a romantic poem that came from your heart. Do something to make that day the best day of her life. That will REALLY show her that you love and care about her. If you can't spend so much and can only spend so little, she wouldn't care. As long as she got you.

I hope I've helped

Good Luck!

you could go up to her and say that you like what she's wearing. and talk about her hair how cute it is. and when your on another date let her choose where you guys go if you don't already do that give her flowers preferabley red roses they show that you really care.and if that doesn't work and your relationship starts to crumble ask her what you could do to make things right again? or take her out to dinner with candles everywhere and then a nice romantic movie followed by a sweet dessert and the thing that i would like is to every so often send flowers with a cute card to her at school. i'm sure she would love if not then she doesn't know what she could be missing!!! :-)

Well coming from me, I would enjoy a romantic dinner or just a movie at home. I would also bring her flowers or her favorite fast food to her work during a Monday (the worst of the week) to show her you care about how she feels during the week and you love here and know alot about her! It worked with me and my last Boy friend, and it might work for you too!

All sorts of different things. Does she work? If so, drop off a rose and maybe her favorite treat to surprise her. Or plan an evening of fun either by going out ie bowling, the zoo, skating, or by staying home ie a fun bubble bath, cooking, painting. I love being spontaneous. You could send her an e-mail asking her to reserve a night just for you and then plan an entire evening. Maybe a bed and breakfast?? A night out on the town? idk, be creative! :-) Good luck!!

Think about the things she likes. the little things. dont worry about doing something outrageous. That might bring attention but it wont be as meaningful. Why not corny? As long as it means something to her why not? As long as it comes from your heart it will mean alot to her. Relax and enjoy .

Get her a year supply of her favorite facial creams and soaps or a weekend all-paid trip to Cancun for the two of you.
