Brunettes are for brown! Most people think Brunette can stand for brown and black! But, its really just brown. It goes through the range of light brown hair to dark brown hair, but not black! The hair colors range from blondes to brunette to black! There is a big difference between brown hair and black hair!

Brunette covers both really. However when most people refer to 'brunettes' they normally mean dark brown hair. I dont know why but the just always seem to!
