I've got a cold, been taking loads of vit c, some cold capsules and cough syrup, but do you know when you get an itch which feels like its behind your ear or near your jaw and drives you crazy? Have you got any ideas of what to do for that or even what its called?

The best thing is prevention. Everyone gets some kind of symptom of a cold or flu coming on. When I get my symptoms, I take some horseradish and garlic tablets and take them as per directions. Don't worry, they are odourless. I am a bronichal asthmatic, so if I didn't do somehting to help prevent anything from coming on, I would be sick for 6 months. Taking these tablets, I get sick for about four to six days and then I am ok. Get your ears checked out. You could have a middle ear infection.

Take about 600 mg of Dextromethorphan (main ingredient of Robitussin)...and trust me, you won't feel the itch anymore.
