I can't stand the bulkiness of the frontend on my 71 super. Does anyone make a lower style hood?

Sure, I was at quality german auto parts this week and they had a carbon fiber vw hood.

I'm sure anyone that sells aftermarket parts for the Beetle should be able to get you one.

In regards to the carbon fiber hood SmJohson was talking about, it isnt all that cheap but it is realy trick looking. That would be the way to go if it fits in with your theme.
They also make rear decklids and fenders in carbon fiber if I remember correctly. In regard to the bulkiness there isnt much you can do, thats part of why I prefer standard beetles or '67 and earlier, I have a '63 beetle, with a sliding ragtop sunroof, and oval rear window which were both grafted in. But thats just what I prefer.

Aftermarkets tend to be a higher design. Check mid America Motorwerks for their '71 hoods:

If anyone does - it will be JC Whitney. they may NOT be available because the hood and front end was made that shape because they put a McPhearson Strut front suspension in it which made the inner fenders stand up higher.

actually dude I know where I can get my hands on VW rolls royce kit. That's the rolls front hood and rear truck. I don't think he has the fenders, I didn't ask but here is a pic of one to give you an idea.
