Probably. Studies have shown that the main chemical used for drycleaning (perchloroethylene) causes cancer in rats. Also, the level of chemical is measurable in people who wear drycleaned clothes or simple visit dry cleaning shops.

According to the National Geographic Green Guide, "Consumers Union, in a March 1996 report, found that people who wear freshly dry-cleaned clothes, like a jacket and shirt, every week over a 40-year period, could inhale enough perc "to measurably increase their risk of cancer" -- by as much as 150 times what is considered "negligible risk"."

Who knows. It seems like every week they come out with something that can cause cancer. I remember when cell phones were being targeted because they were believed to have caused brain tumors. I think you have a greater risk through genetics than you do dry cleaning.

not at all. what about the environment? or smoke? or bacon? cancer is predisposed into our genetics.
