A former male friend of mine at work is avoiding me. We were close friends b4, but we had joked about hooking up until I got upset with him since I ended up wanting to and felt like he was disrespecting me. I ended up calling him a dog since he has a gf overseas and was talking to me about doing it. Anyway I ended up writing a letter to him apologizing to him and he told me I was too weird to be his friend since I gave him mixed signals. He emailed me telling me I needed therapy and that I should get a bf and some friends. When he emailed me this, I was hurt and had been ignoring him for a month, but I could tell he would look at me and try to make me jealous by talking to other girls. I think he realized he had hurt my feelings since I could tell he looked guilty sometimes. I went up to him and said hi and he said hi. He looked at me like he wanted to talk. But the thing is I'm still hurt by him and I can't look at him since I'm so mad so I just ignore him.

I honestly don't see why you are feeling hurt by him or why you would even be mad at him. He didn't do anything to you. You did give him mixed signals. You talked about hooking up with him, and then nothing happened. His girlfriend lives overseas. He is looking to hook up. That is why he is talking to other girls. He is trying to hook up with someone. He isn't trying to make you jealous. I don't think he cares about you at all. I think that you are only seeing things for the way that you want to see them. He has already said that he doesn't want to be your friend anymore. Respect his wishes and give him his space. Maybe in time, he will come back around. Meanwhile, you two have to work in the same place, so make the best of your situation. Don't give anyone anything to gossip about over breaktime.

What's the question again?

Look. If you feel like he has a tenth degree black belt in Sleezeoid, avoid him.

If you want to forgive him, do that. Forgiving him doesn't mean sleeping with him.
