Most 'Christian' churches aren't set up in the same manner Jesus Christ set it up...WHY?

Isn't Christianity based on the teachings of Christ?

As in... Prophets, apostles, baptism, laying on of hands, revelation, keys of the Kingdom, etc. etc.

Nope.

There is one Church set up as the one in the primitive time.

The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints

There is no other set up that way in unity.

The Religion that barely resembles the primitive next to LDS church is the Catholic and they have much difference.

I testify that this is the true church of a real and living God. I testify that we have a real living prophet.

God loves us all and would not leave us without modern revelation.

Friend,

In regards to "Prophets, apostles, baptism, laying on of hands, revelation, keys of the Kingdom, etc. etc."

There are still prophets in the Body of Christ. I know one personally. Water baptism is still practiced, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit still occurs as God wills it.

As for the laying on of hands, it is still practiced in some churches.

I am not sure what you mean by "revelation" and "keys of the Kingdom".

Moreover, it is true that many churches deviate from what would be more Christ-centered doctrine and practices. It is unfortunate, but I think it has to do with the fact that we are getting seriously close to the end times. May we learn the correct doctrine and live by it, as Christ intends.

May God bless you.

Generally speaking, the followers of Jesus gathered together to praise God, and share his teachings. This could be home, or anywhere. Sometimes they broke bread. Things don't seem that much different today, unless you know something I don't know. Prophets only came around every 300-800 years in the Old testament, and usually that was to straighten God's people out or tell about the Messiah. We still have apostles, that could be you me or anyone who spreads the Gospel. As far as the other things you mentioned, some churches practice that now, but the Bible doesn't say that kind of stuff went on every time God's people gathered together.
All in all, I guess I don't see the point of your question? Maybe you need to be a little more specific, or tell us where you are getting your facts from.

There is one Church, The Orthodox Church, that practices organized religion in the same manner Jesus Christ set up His Church because it is the same Church Jesus Christ set up! The Orthodox Church is the only Christian church that does so. I have been an Orthodox Christian for ten years, and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. The Orthodox Church has been in existance since the day of Pentecost, and it has not changed from the day it was established. The Catholics and Orthodox were one until 1054 when they split into two factions. The Churches of Constantinople, Jerusalem, Alexandria and Antioch became the Orthodox Church, and were located in the East. The Church of Rome became the Catholic Church, and was located in the West. That's why the Orthodox Church isn't well known in the West, but the population of Orthodox Christians in the West is growing by leaps and bounds. The Orthodox Church is called the "best kept secret in America", but many Americans are beginning to discover it. It is the second largest body in Christendom, with about 300 million people worldwide. In the twentieth century alone, more than 20 million Orthodox Christians have given their lives for their faith, primarily under communism. So high is the commitment of many Orthodox Christians to Christ and His Church, she has often been called "the Church of the Martyrs." The Orthodox Church has steadfastly maintained the Apostolic Faith. She has avoided the excesses of papal rule and of congregational independence. She has maintained the Faith "once and for all delivered to the saints." She understands the clergy as servants of Christ and His people and not as special privileged classes. She preserved the Apostles' doctrine of the return of Christ at the end of the age, of the last judgment and eternal life, and continues to encourage her people to grow in Christ through union with Him. Orthodox Christianity simply does not change! For almost 2000 years she has continued in her undiminished and unaltered faith and practice. Today her apostolic doctrine, worship, and structure remain intact. The Orthodox Church maintains that the Church is the living Body of Jesus Christ. It's the only Church I've ever found that has answered all my questions about religion. I could read about Christianity from an Orthodox standpoint for the rest of my life and never learn all there is to know. I understand Christianity better than I've ever understood it, and I love Christ more than I have ever loved Him before. Orthodox services are the most beautiful I've ever attended, and the words of the Bible are sung by the choir during the services. The music is the most beautiful I've ever heard, and the icons, which tell stories about the life of Christ, are among the most beautiful works of art I've ever seen. The Orthodox Christians in my church are among the most spiritual and giving people I've ever met. When I worship in the Orthodox Church, I feel closer to God than I ever have in my life.

Because the pastor's are not taught that way in seminary. I wish they were. But its frustrating. Because I like the way that Jesus Christ has set up for his follower's to follow.

If you don't know this already, log on to lds.org and look around. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only church on earth today that has the identical organization that Jesus had formed, having prophets, apostles, priests, teachers, deacons, evangelists, and pastors.

Revelation from God is the key attribute that sets this church apart from all others.

It was prophesied in Acts 20:30 that men within the christian congregation would draw people after themselves - basically apostasy set in and false worship set up. The true christian faith has gone back to the Bible and organised themselves as Jesus would want.
