I lost weight right after I turned 21 and I was drinking at least 3 nights a week. Clear hard liquor like rum (can't be spiced rum, has to be clear) with diet Coke was my drink of choice. There aren't too many calories in clear rum and it doesn't take much to get drunk, if that's the effect you're going for. I would also drink light beer, but that still has around 90 calories per bottle. That adds up if you drink a 6 pack or more. My only problem was sometimes I would overeat as a result of drinking. If you're exercising and eating right, you can drink a little and still lose weight.

Probably a glass of red wine. You need to drink in moderation, so you can still have drinks, just not so many that you're consuming a lot of calories from just the alcohol.

i too have been trying to lose weight (the dreaded bikini season is coming!!!) and so i have started drinking rye, diet gingerale and fresh lime wedges. I also like fruity drinks made in my bullet blender. i just use fruit juice and ice with vodka and frozen chunks of fruit.

You either are not serious about losing weight or are an alcoholic. The alcohol needs to go if you are serious about weight loss.

Stay away from the flavorered drinks, like Smirnoff, they have a lot of sugar. I would suggest a Budlight. Budlight has changed my life.

Try to find a low carb beer. if possible.
the problem with alcohol is that it is loaded with sugars.
