It really does not matter to me if others do not believe the same as me, however, I do wish to be respected for my beliefs and I also have respect for others beliefs. I am personally Christian, my best friend of 25 years is Muslim, we agree to disagree many times. However, when it comes to religion this is when you really see ethnocentric attitudes coming out. Most people tend to believe that their religion is the only true and correct way. I personally feel that their are many different people with many different beliefs. I don't feel it is my place to judge what is right or wrong. I do not have the power to send anyone to heaven or hell. God bless****

Thank you for this question. I am not about bashing anybody. I do become a bit defensive when others bash my Christianity, simply because it is hateful and mean and I believe it is wrong and unfair to behave that way to anyone. Of course I will speak up for my beliefs, but I always do try to do so without disrespecting someone else in the process. Thank you so much for this question. We all need to be reminded that we can coexist without agreeing with one another over everything.

There will always be opposition to any religion and most common one is Christianity which makes it the most fun and easiest to try to tear apart but if it has a solid base there is little chance of that happening. IE.. Christians have been around for over 2000 years and there are quiet a few still around. As long as there is one believer in any god there will be hundreds that try to disprove it.

that's a real assertion. If human beings of specific religions (fairly Christian religions) certainly practiced what the bible says, they had be plenty extra effective at conveying their message. instead, they spend their time competing for company, very like different companies do. that's a tragic situation. considered one of my prominent costs in this venture got here from Chris Rock interior the action picture Dogma. He stated "the extra severe element guy ever did grew to become into take a good option and type a concept gadget around it." That exceedingly plenty sums it up.

Because they are really no different than the Sunni and the Shiite Muslims in Iraq. They are certain they are right and everyone else is a cult and wrong. They haven't heard that is the cause of much blood shed and violence and enables people to commit horrible atrocities. We can kill people of other religions quicker than for any other reason because god is on our side and fighting for us. Who ever we are.
But how do you know for certain he isn't on the side of the one you hate?
I guess what we should do is start throwing missiles into each others churches when it is full to be sure to get all the infidels.

They do so out of ignorance. I'd much rather learn about another faith than bash it.

And no, it doesn't matter if someone doesn't believe the same way I do. That's life.

I won't call it bashing, but a lot of us want to save people. Only Jesus can save their souls, but if you see someone in a false religion, can you sit there and watch them go to Hell? Or do you try and set them on the right path to Jesus?

Don't worry about whether the world approves of your religion. Just keep reading the Bible - the only Truth.
