That would depend on which site you are playing on. If it's yahoo then "Wait for more players" and get someone to forfeit game for you. I wonder what the little twit who answered above knows about not being rude?

I'd set the room to private on the left hand side, so no one else can finish the game out in his place. Then just wait and open a new game in a different window until you're given the option to force forfeit. If he comes back to the room, he'll be given the option to rejoin the game, if not, then free points for you.

If he didnt call time out prior to leaving thats a forfeit you win game over If he just left the building he may be related to Elvis

Dude. It's a game. Just start over with a new player. It's not the end of the world. Although I do agree it i rude to leave in the middle of a game. Now that you know how it feels you won't leave someone hanging, will you?

just wait. if the person doesn't return in 3 minutes, you will be given an option to forfeit the game.
